TWO was tasked with curating an art collection that seamlessly blends the French philosophy of art-de-vivre with the rich, unique culture of Benin. The collection is built on the theme of ‘captivating contrasts,’ drawing inspiration from Benin’s ancestral heritage—sand, wood carvings, leather work, blacksmithing, weaving, bronze casting, coral beading, and goldsmithing—while incorporating modern techniques and mediums to create contemporary relevance.

This bespoke collection offers guests a poetic journey, celebrating the deep connection between Benin’s land and its people. It’s a tribute to culture and creativity, enriching every experience from food to fashion, art to conversation. The story unfolds in the details—subtle, thoughtful gestures that convey the essence of Benin’s rich heritage.
